You know when things look different - you feel the need to find out why, so here goes
Why when I turn the engine off and lock the car does the orange section of the heater control (the bit above "auto") stay on, and other times its doesnt, when its on all the time that the car has run prior to switching the engine off (as thats how I have had it set)

could be bulb or system check...i get wording light up on my d4 when starting...then goes out

The passenger airbag wording in the center - yes, I get that.
This is when switching off though - the light stays on sometimes, and not others, just wondered why?

I noticed this on mine but seemed to only occur when setting single timer on timed climate, or when timed climate is still in operation
When you select from touch screen it is defaulted to current time, this seems to activate that light until setting time for activation D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
D4 HSE MY12 Marmais Teal: Gone. Missed a lot!
Freelander 2 SD HSE MY11 Silver:Thankfully gone.
D4 HSE MY11 Silver: Gone missed !
Range Rover Sport MY06 HSE Buck Blue: Gone missed!

I've seen mine do it a few times. No idea why though. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home

I have timed climate, but not used it, so shouldn't be that, and it has done it after a 250mile trip, so shouldn't be FBH I wouldn't have thought.

I've asked before where does one get all the details of the LR Logic.
Things like 'press and hold button 1 while flashing the lights' and '9 time connect/disconnect the seatbelt will stop the boing' etc., etc.
Is this detailed someplace I can see  Stew,
2010 D4 gone but I really loved it
