I assume wheel bearings are covered ?
Got a distinct rumble which points to a bearing on the way out.The car is going in next week for its 2nd service and have given them a heads-up......if it is the wheel bearing,I assume its covered under the 3 year manufacturers warranty ?..... Just though I'd ask before I start hearing words like "wear" and "tear" bandied about "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Aren't you on GG AT's ?
Mine started making a strange noise about 10K miles ago and I was sure it was front wheel bearing ?
Turned out to be nothing related what so ever ?
I've put it down to the tyres ?
Interesting to know what they say.Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I do have the dreaded GG "drone" between 50-60mph,but unlike previous experience,it seems to be there at other speeds too,and is obvious under hard braking ,which it wasn't before
Haven't ruled out the tyres, but I have a sneaky suspicion there's more to it this time....."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I had one done under the LR assured warranty, but only 'cos the vehicle was taken there by LR Assist. Another that emerged during a routine service was declined due to 'wear and tear'.
One of them is on the way out again so I think i will have to wait for it to worsen and then give LRA a call!Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

They certainly used to do bearings under the 3 year warranty. I had a full set done through that route.

Hi Euan
I've had both rear wheel bearings changed recently under Extended Approved Warranty, no problems
