Hands Free Car Kit

Confused Confused
Can anyone help, is it possible to hard wire a CK7W Nokia Hands Free Kit through the Steero & speakers on a Disco 3 5 door base model ???.

Have asked the question of my Dealer with no luck.

I did it on my base 7-seater, absolute piece of cake, so if you have the same stereo (which I think you do) then yes. I bought the interface loom from the carphone warehouse for about £30 (mail order from the website). Then you just plug the loom into the back of the stereo piggyback style, it then mutes the car stereo when an incoming call arrives and plays the telephone call via the car speakers even allowing the volume control to be used to adjust the speaker vol. There is nothing technically difficult it is just fiddly, you have to remove the trim around the stereo (pull from the bottom) then remove the stereo and heater controls that are held in by torx screws. Once removed there is bags of room to locate the phone unit etc.

No probs, if you look in my gallery in the album about the ipod connection you can just (and I mean just!) see the bluetooth call button on the far right of image 7. I didn't bother with the cradle as I don't like them on the dash so just use bluetooth and it works really well. When you come to fitting it let me know if you need any help.
