Rear Headliner Trim Panel

I am going to completely remove the fittings for my D3 cargo barrier before sale. The top supports/brackets come out from inside the rear headliner trim panel (I think that is what it is called).

Can anyone advise me on how to get into the panel to remove the fittings?

Thanking you

Bob

If you have the Autosafe, you just pull the panel off, then unscrew the bolts, making sure you don't lose the nuts with the attached wire handles.

All done and dusted now PHL. Thumbs Up Will have to get a lesson on how the nuts with the wires fit when ready to put in the D4.

Thanks

Not easy initially. What worked for me in the end was vice grips to keep things stable; pliers didn't adequately stop the nuts from rotating.
