Ordering D4 - Which options and from Who???

Hi
I'm collecting quotes for a D4 Commercial XS but need some advice on options

Dealer quoting as below:

D4 commercial XS
Santorini Black
Heated Seats
Fixed Towbar c/w ball and pin
13 Electrics
Rear Camera
Xenon headlights c/w LED signature DRL's F & R Mudlaps
Rubber Mats

(Only really want the signature DRL's, not bothered about Xenon's)

What I'm wondering is how much of this list can I get done aftermarket, and hopefully save along the way.
and most importantly - By Who??

Lead time seems to be approx 10mths!!!

Any thoughts and advice greatly appreciated.

Simon

D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.

Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

I think mse interpreted the question correctly, ie what can Simon get done away from the original order?

Given that the current 'extras' list is not too extensive I would 'keep it simple' and get it all on the original spec - at least it will all be covered by the original warranty then. In practice, you're unlikely to save a huge amount on rubber mats or tow bar/electrics given the investment you are about to make. For what its worth, I have never had to buy any floor mats for a vehicle I have bought from a main dealer (new or second hand) but have instead used them as part of the bargaining. Thumbs Up

Change all the normal w5w bulbs for LEDs. Cheap as chips, less than a tenner. Thumbs Up

Rear camera is very handy

Detachable ball tow bar is good and has a stow point in the rear side pocket

Never used heated seats in any car I've had with - them so didn't have those

I think the MY14 standard lights appear better than earlier D4's

Can't remember what I asked for on mine now I will have to look at the invoice!
 MY14 post man pat van
70series land cruiser
1947 willys jeep
Hobby 670 motor home
And lots of other stuff in my shed, on my driveway or abandoned in the village
Several VW T5's
Mitsubishi outlander
And a Suzuki X90... Only drive that at night
