LR Approved warranty - 7 year/100k

Sounds good - any ideas how much? And are they offering it from new only or can it be bought with a LR approved used vehicle?

Details here but the wording is strange when you get the quote. It refers to maximum vehicle age (5 & 10 years) . I can't see any reference to 7 years. Perhaps the OP can put up a link?

I have had this for the last 12 months. It's around 750 but is not as extensive as the one under 75 k. So read the smal print.

As Sean is saying, there are two levels of warranty depending on age and mileage. If you are NOt currently covered by a LR warranty then you may have to go through an initial inspection before being accepted onto the scheme. The higher level of warranty is very similar to the original manufacturers warranty, and includes Land Rover Assist and MOT cover.
Some further details in a recent thread at:

Is this just a change in the cut-off point that they are offering the LR approved product?
We took LR approved warranty on SWMBO's RRS when we bought it 2½ years back - ISTR back then the limit was 5 years / ??? miles. The car was on the cusp of 5 year's old at the time so we paid £695 upfront to extend the LR et effectively a 24 month warranty.
On first read of the post I thought we were talking a 7 year warranty like eg. offered by Kia.

Exactly - it was 5 years / 75,000 miles, now 7 years / 100,000 miles for the approved warranty.Gone: 2010MY 59 plate Bali Blue HSE.

I was on the old Approved warranty until the 5 year limit was reached and then had to accept the lower cover of the Select scheme last year.
Spoke to Car Care Plan (who run the LR Warranty) last week to see if I can go on the new 7year Approved scheme when my Select warranty runs out in a month's time. They say that at the moment the 7 year scheme is only for new sales of secondhand cars. They will only offer me the old Select scheme again which has a much lower level of cover.
So if I want the higher level of cover I need to sell my car to a dealer and then buy it back!
