Ok. I do not know what the problem is.
Try with old sleeve and see what happens.

Off coarse it is clear the engine should NOT be running using this option.
Hmm, anybody has a picture to locate the cooler hose?
I have to re-do it and don't feel like unbolting everything again (gearbox protector plate & filling cap)
Thanks !Serial Land Lover - (3 Defenders, 8 Range Rovers, 2 Freelanders, 4 D3s... to be continued)

As for the overall procedure, here is what I did :
1. I re-filled normally, tightened everything, did a run, all was perfect... but... good leak. I hadn't torque tightened everything.
2. I flushed & unmounted everything, re-torqued to spec, messed up the filling procedure & lost a lot of fluid (with the dr tranny in it) in the process
=> all works ok but a bit less than the first time bc, I think, dr tranny is almost not here anymore, hence my need to add a new bottle.
For the french ones following, dr tranny is hard to find in france at reasonable prices so the equivalent is Lubegard Instant Shudder Fixx™ & you can find it for cheap (21€) on amazon. It's supposed to be exactly the same.Serial Land Lover - (3 Defenders, 8 Range Rovers, 2 Freelanders, 4 D3s... to be continued)
