have a look at the electronic lowering module. on page 7. might this unit (perhaps with a bit of reenginering) be able to keep the D3 at extended high over what ever mph you must keep under before it auto drops. (an override switch.)
I recall people wanting to keep the Disco at extended hight while in sand but due to the speed , the disco was dropping to
normal height .

Sorry that the information is in German. They produce a kit that is able to do both, lower the car at high speeds by 23mm and lift it by 26mm over the normal offroad height.
