Bit off topic here, but for anyone wanting a brochure without the attendant hassle from the dealers, then just enter any old rubbish into the information boxes.
Interesting, one can download the brochure from the USA site without having to leave any info, there is a link to it at the bottom of the first Discovery page.

If anyone else sees the new D5 in the flesh would they please take a picture of the "flat" load floor? I need to get the image of that sloping, cutaway video replaced in my head. Thanks.

Namib Orange it's a premium metallic and changes with the light
It's the colour I'm going for, it won't be everybodys cup of tea. I've ditched the 20" alloy upgrade (£1555) in favour of it.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Perhaps they'll upgrade the Evoque to LCD instruments, so that it's the way that we'll be able to tell a Land Rover apart from a Range Rover in future?2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

The seats do fold flat, but....because the 3rd row backs fold in top of the bases the boot floor is higher, the middle row fold at the same height so, despite the book figure quoting more volume in the load area it feels like less usuabke space. The height from boot floor to head lining is less for sure.

Tell me about it, I so want to have one but i can see its going to be a compromise against the D4 which is perfect for my needs. It will be a dangerous moment visiting the dealers as i know what I'm like and ill start convincing myself it will all be ok and buy one MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

This level load bed conversations confusing does it or doesn't it? I can see flat seat backs but all the pictures suggest they don't fold down to create a level load bed?
