Maybe it would be just like driving a normal car
Look at the grief caused on a D3, by something as simple as a blocked fuel filter
Can't tell me that if the TR faults, it won't majorly affect the rest of the car

The more I see the more I like, the technology is really something else and I personally love the design. Will be interested to see how they split the range into the proposed 3 models

Why does everything LR do now, have to look like a Range Rover. I thought there was supposed to be a clear distinction between the two ranges. I don't think it will grace my drive
I did say that about the Evoque and went out and bought one23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Don't think this video link has been posted yet... It gives an amazing insight into the construction of the concept... And perhaps some additional clues to what's to come.
I'm trying very hard to love it, and from some angles it looks great, but I can't get my head around the back end I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

hmmm. Better sense of scale at 2:10 of this video - not bad from those angles. Just wish the roof step was more prominent.

Told you so ...Ford Explorer and Discovery Vision. Also the rear light cluster on the Ford Explorer lead the way in the styling for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport rear lights in the way they blend into the rear side panel.
Perhaps some of the stylists have not got rid of their Ford DNA?

Just had a quick read through this thread - one of the things I hope JLR remember about the Discovery is that it's not a Range Rover and isn't bought by people who want a Range Rover but can't afford one.
It's meant to be a more comfortable and civilised LAND rover - a Defender for people who don't want to do without all mod-cons (and the regular trips to the osteopath).
It's OK as it is and meets that need - a good off-roader with a decent heater and reasonable road manners. It's a car version of an agricultural vehicle - not a luxury limo that happens to have off-road capabilities.
