Apart from their not being able to enable sat nav on-the-move, I'm one happy customer . When I called Ripon LR with my list of minor warranty fixes, they reckoned it would take a full day to deal with all of them, in addition to the 1st service stuff. I was offered a brand new FL2 diesel SE for collection the night before & not needing returning until 2 days later! FL2 had half a tank of fuel in it, and Ripon LR did NOT insist upon the usual dealership loan-car insurance scam - they were quite happy with my adding the car to my own policy for 48hrs (FOC). Total cost of all the above? £230 incl. vat. With service like that, I will return again & again, despite them not being my nearest dealer.
Sat nav on-the-move:
As the Ripon LR software chap claimed not to have had this requested before. I gave him a print-out of the relevant TSB (LTB00044). Despite spending the required hour or 2 uploading it (apparently, without any hitch), the screen still greyed out when he tested it. Other than a re-install, does anyone have any suggestions? DGRR

I wonder, maybe it needs to have the newer (YIW500200 or YIW500250) satnav DVD? Do you have one of these, or is yours the older one, as the newer DVDs upgraded the satnav computer software. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!

Good question... but I upgraded a few months back to YIW500200, in advance of getting the software patch, so that can't be it. DGRR
