Protecting Bodywork
When we where carrying out the recce, Duncan mentioned that he had bought some blank magnetic sign material that is used on vehicles which he bought from eBay.
White panels also available with the letters "UN" in black and an optional blue beret of ineffectiveness......I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Good idea Some advice from my limited experience of magnetic signs...make sure the body and panels are very clean before application...the slightest fleck of grit could do more damage than your trying to protect it from and don't ever be tempted to move the panel whilst stuck on the motor Let us have some photos when your all stuckered up 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Cool...
There is a company already offering a custom magnetic covering solution for the D3...one of our members has it fitted but cannot for the life of me find the pics in the gallery
If its you let us know how you get on with them.

Hi DG,
I had thought to make sure the car and magnetic sheet where clean and would then use this product:
Which you spray on and wipe off using a microfibre cloth. This is used as a dry cleaner and comes throughly recommended to spray on when you have washed the car and use what is called a waffle weave drying towel to dry the car with.
