My passenger side A pillar trim keeps coming off when traveling down the highway when I pass any large trucks.
Normal 110kmh driving is ok, but when a large semi go's past it must create extra air pressure over the D3 and the A pillar "explodes off", I have tried 2 different packs of trim clips and they don't work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, I am getting sick of using "100 mile and hour tape" to keep it place.

Get to the nearest LR dealer and buy a set of the clips.
What you describe is typical if a screen has been replaced and the clips haven't been replaced.
They are not reusable...
Oh, and welcome to the most useful website for Discovery 3 or 4 owners. LeighW

Hi tripe, are you using the old trims? Forum members who have their windscreens replaced now have the trim and clips replaced as part of the service.

The windscreen has never been replaced (i've owned the vehicle from new), the A pillar trim just "exploded off" one day when passing a semi on the highway.
I went to Super Cheap and purchased some new trim clips, but they only work for a day before the trim comes off again.
I ordered original clips from land rover a few months ago, along with EPB brake shoes, when i picked these items up, they had forgotten to order the clips!!!!!
My one criticism of Hobart Land Rover, is they don't stock any basic spare parts, everything needs to be air freighted in (at my cost) from the Big Island. I would of thought trim clips would be generic to any Land rover model, and they would have a box or two on the shelf in the spare parts dept.
I will order some genuine clips,

Order from UK. cheaper and probably quicker. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Motolite, thank you for your kind offer,
I need new front suspension bushes AGAIN, I will get these from the UK as well, even at 0.46 au/pound exchange rate, it's still cheaper to order parts from the UK.
The last time I purchased parts from the UK it was 0.67 au/pound.
You have got to love the "Aussie tax"'on all Landrover parts if you buy through a local dealer.

In case anyone else needs them, the clips come as a set - you need one set per A pillar. The part number is LR026343.
