Replacing/cleaning d3 sat-nav buttons
Some daft-lump left a lipsalve on the small shelf directly below the sat-nav screen of my d3. In the current heat it promptly melted leaving a sticky mess to clean up.
The problem is that some of the goo managed to make its way into the one of the plastic buttons directly below the screen. Making one of them very temperamental, and needing several hard prods before it responds.
How do I go about getting to the buttons so that I can clean them properly and/or replace if required. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap
NO SOLVENTS WHATSOEVER
I would try some very mild soapy water...bit by bit you may be able to coax out the gooBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
