Amber Warning "Check Brake Pad" light illuminated |
|
I've had my DS3 for four weeks now. Came with full MOT and Service just four weeks ago so can't believe the pads need doing.
Any ideas? It flickers on and off a little too - faulty sensor perhaps? We're off to Scotland Tuesday morning (it's Sunday evening) so it's short of time to try to get it in anywhere!

Could be a sensor but I would start with a visual check of the pads. You can see them through the wheel. But this will only show you one of each pair and they don't wear evenly. At least if you an see a thin pad you can have an informed decision with the garage. 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
