Hi everyone.
Need a bit of advice please, as i am a bit unsure where to go neext with this issue. Here goes ..
2008MY (58) D3 SE, EU4 engine. About 6-8 moths ago i had the alive tuning EGR blank and patch done to the car, which was pretty good. Did everything that was reported back from blanking them. However, about 2 months ago, i have started getting intermittent P140A and P140E codes, which i believe are EGR sensor C low cct high resistance, and EGR position sensor min/max hi resistance. Having a read around, it seems that patched and blanked EGRs shouldnt chuck up a problem. This occurs pretty randomly ( sometimes the same day, sometimes 4 5 days between events ). I have a i930 reader, so i can clear and check the basic stuff, and it is always the same 2 codes come back.
So, does it look like i need new egrs anyway, or would it be something as silly as the actuators getting stuck? There is no real performance issue ( apart from a drop in mpg until i clear the mil light ). I am unsure wether to go down the electrical route and start checking the cabling, or maybe something mechanical?. The only job i have done to it since the blank was fit a battery and alternator.

I know this is an old thread.
But how did you solve your peoblem.
I have the same with my blanked and patched D3.
