Pro Kits..... Service Kits Deals & More
We have a bit of forum experience under our belt now and have been impressed in the knowledge that has been passed over, we are now endeavouring to bring that knowledge into what we do here.
The first time I was asked for a camshaft tensioner bolt in all my years of motor factoring was here in the forum and now we sell many of them because we are listening.
This general evolution causes us to add all sorts of nuts, bolts, clips & covers to our range on a daily basis.
Keep going, nearly at the point now!
We have a number of product lines that we often see related sales being added or a second order for these items after the job has started, so we are now offering a growing range of Pro-Kits, the first of them (Service Kits & Disc & Pad Kits) are already on our website.
Suspension arms will be the next product to receive the treatment, all products will still be available for individual purchase if you wish, just remember each of the kits include delivery.
The kits will contain what we believe you need to do the job, they are of course a little more than before and they include a small amount to cover a courier delivery on the mainland UK I have also included the Highlands in this as some you win and some you lose, and we have many repeat customers already in the area.
When you see this type of picture you should expect to find what you need to do the job in the price, they remain competitive and we are sticking to the same brands rather than the discount ones available elsewhere. A typical brake kit will have Discs & Pads of course but will also have a wear indicator wire, the screws to hold the disc on, the little plastic EPB covers, Loctite & Copper grease (where fitted/applicable)Paul Redding

I have used AF a few times for brake parts and drop links.
The brake parts were good but the drop links were two different makes looked totally different.
I no choice but to put them on because i needed to use the car.

Yes i know AF have a good rep. I am just sharing my experience.
When you have the car jacked up and in bits picking the phone up and waiting a few days is not really an option.
The drop links are the same size so i fitted them, but they are different colours and have different welding etc from different manufacturers.
They were both unboxed in a package. Someone must have thought 'they will do'.

Nothing sinister there and no deception intended. We only buy links from Firstline for standard types and then Meyle for HD types, occasionally we will have Lemforder if there is a supply problem so I can only imagine we were low on stock and substituted, but we would only substitute upwards. However as you said they both were same size and fitted so will do the exact same job and have the same warranty. Understand your concern but would have loved to have the conversation on the day to put your mind at rest. The "They will do" approach - possibly but only when that is true rather than we don't care.
We often unpack items to save on postage size and rates, we learned this on international parcels as more packaging than you really need pushes up delivery prices.Paul Redding
