New D4 Stuck in Elevator
Well Well
Got the new D4 last week in fact a week today
My engineers took it to London this morning to carry out an ROV inspection of an underground Sprinkler Tank.
They used the vehicle elevator to get the D4 and equipment down to the basement.
The job went well and they called the lift to get back up to ground level but......
The lift wont move and is stuck on the basement level doors wont open, the lift controller has fallen asleep whilst waiting for a lift engineer to turn up.
Does anyone know if there are any 'special programs' to get unstuck from an elevator ?
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I've got a mate who used to be a lift engineer so he may know but it's a bit of an up and down game these days so not sure if he still does it.

You have brought back a memory though....1st August 1994.....I was getting a new Volkswagen from a dealership that kept all their cars on their open roof storage area.....the busiest day of the year, and the lift stuck halfway, bringing the very first car down.....
