2015MY Spare Wheel
Whilst perusing the very latest Discovery brochure from JLR, I had a look at the spare wheel options.
It seems that the full sized spare is no longer an option and instead the option is for a 'Temporary durable reduced section spare tyre (0291R)'
Does this mean my D4 will come with a full sized spare as standard or will it have nothing at all?
I guess if it comes with nothing - LR cannot be criticised for fitting a wheel which is easily stolen....Phil

Indeed - if there was an option to order a full sized spare....
The only option to order is a skinny space-saver at £185.
So...... my question is - what do you get if you leave it to them, full-size spare or just nothing and a gap where a wheel could go?Phil

Ah - so the website gives you the option to buy a full sized wheel for £185 or you can buy a skinny for the same price if you take the brochure as gospel?
I think a question needs to be asked of the dealer pretty sharpish!
Thanks Marco!Phil

I think you will find the D4 comes with a durable spare as they call it , the full size is the option

I see what you mean with the MY15 brochure. MY14 and before was always skinny as standard and full size as a reasonably priced option. Could be a brochure error as it's quite common - MY14 listed TPMS as both standard fit and as a cost option!2014MY Discovery

Having looked further at the brochure it lists the skinny as standard and as a cost option depending on where you look. I suspect that the cost option one just has the wrong descriptor and should read as a full sized upgrade price. Dealer will know.2014MY Discovery
