I know this has been done to death but I am yet to find a cheap fix for the LED indicator lights on the trailer pulsing on and off when the trailer is connected. Someone must know a cheap fix as opposed to the $265 module.

I have just purchased my disco 4 and im doing extensive forum hunting to find out to make the shunt but all I can find is people saying that there is heaps of information on the forums just use the search function.
I can tell you this doesn't work.
I would love to find a how to to build one as it would be very handy.
I hope someone could point us in the right direction.

Build your own - about $30 for parts from Repco and Jaycar.
There is plenty on building them on AULRO.com including wiring diagrams and parts lists. I made mine using Narva two resisters and two basic relays plus wires and a box from Jaycar.
Very easy.
