I did a search and I didn't come up with anything, but I was wondering if anyone on here has done an after market exhaust for a V6. The only one that I found was the one from Cargraphic: http://cargraphic24.com/index.php?/s,6,7,9,2443,2445,2485/ i don't want to spend $3K us for an exhaust when I can get a custom one made for alot less.

Hi stan7B ,
I have a KAHN full stainless system on my V6 . (www.projectkahn.com)
these Guys also do them http://www.larinisystems.com/ , also JE do one for the D3
and also www.twistedperformance.co.uk.
To be Honest all these systems would be close or perhaps just under 3K US .
so getting one made your self might be the way to go.
Also try Magnaflow (US) , they were talking about doing a system for the RRS
US domestic market , that would be very sililar to the LR3
pics of the exhaust http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic5664.html?highlight=exhaust
Hope this helps

Do these exhausts actually make any difference on a D3. I have a local exhaust performance centre www.infinity-exhausts.co.uk who will make a custom exhaust for the D3 for about £400
Also, Janspeed are looking for a donar vehicle to design an exhaust around.
I know its all in the UK, but if they are OK then an international group buy make make it worthwhile Duncan

Barry,
Thanks for the info...you truck really looks good with the quad tip! I am not sure if I want to go quad or dual yet, but have you notice any difference in low end torque? Does it feel a bit more peppy?

Hi Stan .
just to compare mine is a TDV6 . Low end torque is much better , I cant tell you what it would be like
based on standard as My motor is also Turbochipped , under heavy exceleration I have found that
the power comes on stronger , there still is a lag . but when the power comes its quite dramatic
also what I have found is that the engine now reves harder . alot of this though would be down to the Turbochip.
The best thing about the exhaust though is the Sound.. puts a huge smile on my face everytime i drop
the hammer.
I must get some wav files and put them up here for the laugh.

I know exactly what you mean, I had an I/H/E on my old car (Lexus IS300) and I loved the sound......but I am up in the air on if there would be any MPG or performance benefits on this truck. Its nice have a quiet ride, I must admit. I wish we would have be able to get the TDV6 here in the states......I would have definately picked that up....you guys are spoiled over there!!!! I am going to do a little more research before I get the exhaust made for it.

I have the Larini exhaust system, It's amazing and cost me less than $2k shipped to kuwait, that's the best thing that I bought for my LR3. Pics in my gallery. '05 LR3 HSE V8 - Adriatic Blue - Larini Exhaust System - Lamp Guards - Dual battery system - Hidden 12k winch - Rasta Sump Guard
