AT2's ordered for next Monday
Well I've done it I have ordered my new Grabber AT2's (255/60/18"). Had to do a bit of haggling as the price as it has gone up a bit. The two tyres they have in stock are £119 and the two he has to order are £139. He's done the best he can on the price and says he will knock some more off because my Scorpions are still ok and I am taking them away.
I have had to get them early as I am going to France soon and will do about 2500 miles, and didn't want to be looking for tyres over there.
Can anyone tell me if they are running their AT2's at the same pressures as it states in the book?

tyre pressures are more vehicle specific than tyre specific... provided that the rolling circumference, load rating and profile are 'similar' then the pressures quoted by the vehicle manufacturer should be used in most circumstances - or so i've been told

Cooper HT+ needs 40 all round though. I experiented with standard pressures and found it wallowey. Will need to reduce pressure for unsealed roads though I guess.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I'm running them at 32 front 37 rear, and they're doing just fine.
Done about 6k miles on them now & seem to be wearing very well. Possibly getting slightly noisier though, but still not intrusive.Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Anyone got a view on what Cooper ST's should be inflated to? WHen I picked them up from GLYNNE he'd kindly marked them F and B because of pressure differences but I never got to find out what those pressures were Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
