'Winscreen'/door pillar Grab Handle?
Am I right in thinking that the Discovery 3/4 is not fitted with the above - cannot see any such in any internal views? I have got so used to 'hauling' myself up using the standard sidestep and grab handle in my 150 series Landcruiser .... I cannot see how I would get in a Discovery without grabbing the steering wheel and crushing down the side seat support.... Any user thoughts please?

Lower it to access height and 'slide' in and out gracefully, keeping your chin up, and knees together.

Ha, Ha - nice one ..... clearly not been raised (pun intended) as an issue before...? I take it it auto lowers to 'access' height as you approach......?
Err no, Park it in access as you exit if height is the issue, that or buy some side steps , my 95 yr old nan gets in mine with side steps Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Hmmmm... not convinced ... sidesteps don't 'cut' it on their own IMO.... a grab handle is a real bonus... still - never mind..... something to put up with/get used to I suppose - along with crushed seat supports...... Raise/lower suspension options are yet more problems waiting to go wrong....?

Once again.... hmmmm... from what I have read they have always come out worse on reliability over all brands.... so I was looking for less gizmos the better - or am I wrong on this?... - still smiling!!

Amazon a bit different to the Landcruiser 150 series ..... Amazon a really big car - more Rangerover jobby, more expensive to sort I believe from what I've read....?
I have a snorkel fitted on mine and when recently recovering from a fall that gave me limited movement in my back accompanied by indecent amounts of pain I was using it most effectivly as a grab handle.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. I missed the grab handle when I moved from Amazon to D3 ownership.
I don't think of the 150 being same class as the D3 but I do sometimes miss the extra luggage room in the Amazon.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

After nearly 10 years of D3 ownership I never realised they had a grab handle , I have never found it necessary to use one. If you are finding faults and criticising the D4 now I would stick with what you've got It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
