Merry Christmas and latest news
Hi Everyone
With 2014 coming to an end, we want to take this opportunity to thank all our customers and the forum community for your continuous support. We would also like to thank all our beta testers for helping us making the IIDTool what it is today.
As a last little effort, we’ve submitted the new iOS App version to Apple last week and if we are lucky, it will be reviewed and released this weekend, just in time for the holidays (before Apple closes…).
To name a few improvements:
-Live values saved logs can be viewed in offline mode (not connected on a vehicle)
-Logs export capability in PDF* and CSV format
-Logs and fault list printing capability (Air Print)
-Up to 8 live values can be viewed simultaneously in numeric mode
-New Layout on iPad which shows the Integrated interface replica only when needed
-On iPhone, live values now available in portrait mode
-New ECU Info view ready (available in a future IIDTool Firmware update)
-User may now connect to a tool during its booting sequence. The App will display a special booting screen with in-depth information on the booting process
-Few cosmetic improvements
*There’s something evident missing in the PDF generation, a revised version will be submitted to Apple once the reviewing process is completed, else we would have lost our place in the queue...
Android App V2.0 is currently on its last polishing steps and will be released… today!
Since it is the holiday season, we will take two weeks off and will be back January 5th. When possible, we will keep an eye on e-mails in case support is needed. Response time will depend on the date and condition we are in
