Able to renew warranty??? |
|
Hi All.
I have had my D3 under Land Rover Select warranty for a couple of years now, and I have just had a renewal document in from Land rover. My vehicle has done 108,000 miles, and the terms of the policy state that you cannot take out a policy if the vehicle is over 100,000 miles.
Am I taking out a new policy, or am I able to continue with the one that I have, as I took it out at about 75K miles, two years ago? I would have thought that they would expect my vehicle to be over the 100K mark, as it is serviced by a dealer too.
Any advice appreciated.

Was in a dealer today with a friend looking at a new D4 and the dealer said you can't renew after 100K, but if you take it out at 99,999 you will get 12 months cover.

Thanks for your comments everyone, but a call to Land Rover warranties today did not bring me a renewal, no matter how hard I cried.
100K stands firm with them then. And for the record, I had no claims in the 2 years that I was covered...

After 130k the warranty reverts to engine & gearbox type cover up to 160k.
