Valuation help 2013 HSE with extra's? |
|
I think my Discovery is pretty special and I would welcome some help from you guys on how you would you value a May 2013 (13) Discovery HSE, 26000 miles in immaculate condition with the following options:
Indus Silver/Black Leather
Privacy Glass
Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System
Active Rear Locking Diff
Tow Pack (Removable)
Full Size Spare Wheel
Heated Steering Wheel
Vision Assist Pack
Cooler Box
Tyre Pressure Monitor
Grand Black Lacquer Door Inserts and Uprights
Hybrid TV
Side Moulding With Bright Finish
Sill Tread Plates
Pureguard
Tracker with 33 months subscription.
A total of £6,000 of extra’s.
I’m thinking of selling because it’s under used. I spend 90% of my time pounding motorways in it on my own, with the remaining 10% of the time pounding a motorway whilst going holiday with the family. I have bought a 330d sport touring X drive for work and will probably get the wife an Evoque.
I could keep it for another 12 months and do about 5k miles which will make it a lower mileage car. What do you think?
Thanks for your assistance.

Unless you happen to find someone very enthusiastic about your choices, then my understanding was the majority of the cost was lost at the time of resale.
Sorry

Thanks Apache, I realise that I won't recover the cost. I've listed the spec because I think it should at least add to the appeal. I didn't spec the car so fortunately didn't pay the majority of the cost. I have however owned it from new. The only HSE cars I can find are with dealers so its difficult to know what to price it at privately. Having said that after looking at the prices of Evoques I'm having second thoughts.

Webuyanycar.com will give you a worst case scenario price guide and 13/HSE's with 20k-ish on the clock seem to go for between £42k-£45k at dealers. Big plus for you is it still has 12 months LR warranty left to run which is very comforting to buyers. I agree, all the extras add appeal, not value, to your D4.

Well if three year old HSE's are trading at £32k then your's would be about £37k I would guess with the fact that it is not quite two years and has a nice spec offsetting the slightly high miles. Remember that the Evoque is facelifted in a few months time. 2014MY Discovery

Thanks for the heads up on the evoque. Its a shame the discovery sport is being launched with the older engine. To be honest... I'm frightened to look on WBAC!

"Remember that the Evoque is facelifted in a few months time."
I bet the price is facelifted too!
Strangley I was at Mashalls Cambridge recently, 3 year old, low spec, Evoques seem be worth around £5k more then high spec D4's of the same reg , so the Evoque certainly holds is value given they cost less than a D4 new.
We have an Evoke as a second car and am very pleased with it. Club Narpy Torch
