MY Disco
well I thought id best put up some pics of my girl has I have had her for nearly 8 months and not posted any thing about her apart from the wheel balance problem.
so here she is a couple of days maybe a week old
took her round Germany and put nearly 5,000 miles on her in around 2-3 weeks didn't miss a beat close to the end of the trip before driving home
then went to the LRO show and took her off-road for the first time
so after the mud a little wading
so after all this I lost a peace of trim a little peace that covers the front recovery point so this gave me the perfect excuse to modify I did go a little over board
first I went to Pro speed and got their rock tree sliders and compressor guard then gave the keys to D44 to do the rest done, so here goes
Before
and after
so things you cant see are:
full D44 under body protection
ASFIR rear diff guard and 2'' front recover for a winch
dismountable winch in the boot
Anderson connection under the bonnet for jump start if needed and air compressor which is in the boot as well
goes in for her first service next month she's on 15,000 miles, still a few more things getting done but haven't taken her off-road since the lro show
if any one is going green laning or a pay n play day around Hampshire please give me a shout I would love to tag along.
thank you for reading.
sorry for any bad spelling and if any one has any questions about my disco and or the work I have had done just send me a message I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they're like 'Hey, what are you doing here?' I tell them 'You know.. hunting elephants.' -
