Been looking at what to get as a cargo/boot liner for the D4. From what I've read it seems Hatchbag and UK Custom Covers are the two main preferences. Is there any stand out differences between the two products? Is there any other brands I should consider?
From what I found the only differences seem to be that Hatchbag can be optioned with a extender for when seats are down and with covers for rear window sills. MY15 D4 SDV6 Kaikoura Stone

I've used hatchbag now and between us in our immediate family they've supplied a D3, FL2, Mini Countryman and a Honda CRV all with custom fit solution.
Not a single disappointed person as yet. I found with the D3 I needed to renew the Velcro to attach to car but that's probably because I used to carry a lot in the back in and out.

Boot Buddy.
I've had hatchbag - OK but a if you need to take it out. Boot Buddy is semi-rigid and doesn't need fastenings. Comes out very easily. Also easier to access the boot side lockers - just bend it back, nothing to undo.

I hope I can say this, I got mine from 4x4 tyres and accessories, fits a treat and has a central non slip area. Only down side is it's not flexible, although bendable it cannot be rolled up and only fits when in 5 seat mode. Approx 40 quid. Good value and tailored to fit. (specify whether 5 or 7 seat).

I think the hatchbag is the Rolls Royce of covers but I got a ukcustom cover chucked in with dog guard I purchased off eBay. Chuffed to bits with quality of it and zips on each seat back allow me to lower individual seats. Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Starting to sway towards custom covers as they look to be less fiddly.

Thanks, I'd forgotten about that one. Unfortunately shipping costs are more than it's worth MY15 D4 SDV6 Kaikoura Stone

Got this Boot Liner in the back of the Disco. Tough as old boots. And it's had quite a few old boots on it over the years. http://bit.ly/15tkEzt

Hatch bag as it's is flexible, lots of options to cover exactly what you need and SO hard wearing - Mine has coped with mud, sand, stones, tip runs with wood and nails, the dog crate (steel) being pulled in and out, chemical spills and it still washes up like new and everything underneath 100% protected.
I particularly like the fact it'll fold down with the seats and has options for both the rear doors and the rear quarter sections to provide full protection.
You can even get it in different colours if you wish. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
