Hello all I'm new to the forum and new to land rovers, I'm looking to purchase a new disco 4 but can any one tell me how long I'd expect to wait from ordering it tomorrow?

And it's had a colour change to Solent Blue with a tide line of Impana Sand on one side.

I suppose different people different perceptions but to me a 10 week wait for a new car built to my spec is quick. 2014MY Discovery

10 weeks would be about right from the dealership that I use but you need to check with you local dealers. There is always the possibility of extra build slots or cancellations. ! was offered and took a six week slot in Sep last year.
Just had an email from the dealer that I use and he has an amendable slot for March (unless you want the Black Pack) but you'd have to travel to Somerset to take delivery I guess. If you're interested DIY to Taunton LR and ask for Martin Potter. 01823 412559 Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Contact Beadles Land Rover Sidcup. As of this morning they have 21 unallocated D4s for March. Speak to Paul Bradley there and I'm sure he'll sort you out a good deal. I have been a customer of his for the last 4 years or so. Can't recommend them highly enough. Their number is 0208 309 1100. I know you are in York but if you're after a brand new one then he should be able to help you out.
Let us know how you get on
