Possibly the most effort saving hole ever!

If you don't have a sliding floor, go to the next post. Thumbs Up

Just invested three and a half minutes drilling a hole through the sliding floor so I don't ever again have to unload what felt like a ton and a half of the girlfriend's stuff to let the spare wheel down. If you are using the 3/8" drive modifiction it is a 5/8" hole right close to the casing of the release handle - and right in the middle. If you dont have the 3/8" drive modification you are scuppered as you will have to raise the seats. Rolling with laughter

No rear seats to lift up, just a load deck with a precut hole for dropping the spare wheel. Rear seats have been stored under a bed for about 5 years now.

As not quite seen here under the rubbish on the way to the tip. Mr. Green Mr. Green

She gets cleaned out occasionally, honest. Whistle Renovating a house so she's finally earning her keep. Besides, she also gets used as a D3 Campervan so it gets cleaned out for that. Middle seats haven't been in for a couple of years and rears 5 or so. Great for weight saving. Thumbs Up

Thought about that many times, same for row 3, but it would really limit my market if I did have to sell her. Not much call for 2 seat D3s. Sad

How do you get your boil in a bag to heat up in the jetboil?!

I've tried many times and have given up trying now!!

Easypeasylemonsqueezy! I use Tilda rice pouches, about 2" of water (or so) in the Jetboil cup and bung the pouch in, put the lid on with the "spout" opposite side to the gas control. Bring it to the boil & let simmer for 5 mins or so. Only difficulty is getting the temp control low enough so that the water is simmering, not boiling over. I go by the gas flame and sound. Have it too high, or wander off and you will have a geyser on your hands, hence the spout away from the control knob. If I'm doing a curry I do the same as above in the other Jetboil, just with a can of curry in there.

Once heated bung in a bowl with some chutney. When waiting for the mains to heat I have another burner on the go with a small nonstick frying pan to do a couple of mini nans. Minimum effort (naff all washing up), maximum results. Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

PS Got 2 weeks trip to North Cape planned this summer and it's going to be a two week curry fest. Not sure I'll get back into the UK. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Well that told me!! Sounds like you've mastered your technique to a fine art! And even though I've just eaten my tea I'm somehow hungry after reading your post Shocked

The mains I use say to boil for 5-10 minutes, I struggle to get enough water in there for them to cook right through otherwise I over fill it and boiling water flies out Confused

A two week curry fest Shocked Your insides will be ruined by the time your home!!!
