Just like to say a big thank you to mikey for the gearbox flush yesterday. It's now as smooth as silk.

I would also like to add my thanks to DM for fixing my parking brake which recently packed up. After a lot of diy diagnostics I had resigned myself to having to replace the complete EPB module. As it was beyond my skills, I called on DM's services.
Within 10 minutes of meeting with him, he had diagnosed a bad power supply to the EPB. Within a further 10 minutes he had narrowed it down to, and located, a corroded splice in a wire which runs from the front to the back of the car which was causing high resistance. It was fixed very quickly and following a couple of software upgrades (clock on dash etc) I was on my way.
I was most impressed with his methodical approach to the problem and his knowledge of the vehicle systems. I can highly recommend DM.
Also thanks to Justin, the parts manager at Stratstone LR in Doncaster who supplied a replacement EPB module at a very good price and took it back with grace for a complete refund including postage. I should have believed DM when he said he had never been beaten fixing an EPB !

Gordon, surprised you noticed a difference with only 51k miles. Just goes to show you
Hugh, was expecting it to be a bit more challenging, but it's nice to have an easy fix every now and then

Mikey
I would not have said I had any real issues with gearbox before, no noise or vibration etc.but I do notice the difference, I guess the old oil was past its best at 7yrs old.well worth it in my opinion.
Thanks again
