Why did he take it back to a Vauxhall garage to complain?
OK he probably bought it from there!
But the probability was that it'll still be covered by the LR 3yr warranty.
He should have taken it back to a LR Dealer to sort out his issues.
If he's still not happy, then livery it up and leave it parked in the LR dealers courtyard.
It would have far more impact there!...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

maybe the sign's not finished yet and it should say;
don't buy one of these
here because we don't sell them
He meant to buy a RRS but got the D3 in error. He was agoraphobic and couldn't cope with the available space in the D3 so traded-in for a Corsa (as he still needed a bigger boot than a RRS)
Simple really.......
Another (more serious thought) is that this is the latest move by the GreenPiss lot who come round your gaff at night and stick these on yer motor The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Well the spec says a D3 can wade to 700mm and an RRS can wade to.......700mm - at least thats what my chauffeur informs me - next time I will ask him to step out of the RRS to measure the depth.
Of course - there is one vehicle limited to 600mm - the non-air version of the D3
