Lets hope it keeps up.
Hi Chris,
Was that the weekend, just gone (7/8th July)? Looks like there is plenty at Falls. I went to Baw-Baw last Monday and had a ball x-country. Plenty of snow at Baw-Baw (should be good for our water supplies.
Cheers,
David.
PS. read the title and thought Oh no. What has happened this time? Meltdown of the whole car. Thank heavens she looks alright sitting there in the snow.Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

I carry 4WD chains (Konig from ARB) but didn't need to fit them. The D3 just ambles through the snow and ice as most 4WD's do. I used grass/gravel/snow setting to reduce throttle response.
Watching 2WD cars struggle in the conditions is fun to watch - I've been one of them in the past.

Good to know that you had fun! I was at Buller last Sunday 8th July and although overcast, there was some great snow, with a number of runs still ungroomed due to the amount that has fallen. Unfortunately most of those were closed off so it was not possible to make a fool of oneself.
Went in the SAAB together with everyman and his dog, so there was a bit of queue all the way from the gates to the top, plus had to fit chains even though it was not necessary.
Next stop Thredbo. See you on the slopesDisco 3 TDV6 HSE, Auto, White, Rear Diff Lock.
