Things that go bump in the night.......and in the suspension

Got the famous 'clonk' on slow speed, right hand turns like mini-roundabouts. Lucky enough to have full workshop facilities plus the help of a recently retired main dealer Landy mechanic. OK, no probs..... up on the ramps, full check over of all the various bits that are likely to clonk. Wheels on, wheels off, weight on wheels, weight off wheels, steering wheel wiggled etc etc...... Big Fat Nothing other than a TINY suspicion of slack in the lower steering shaft u/j. Neither of us think that is the culprit for this hefty sounding clonk.
Out with the spanners, and replaced the usual suspect for this sort of clonk -ARB bushes (Fronts). Just in case, you understand Wink .
Test drive ...........'Clonk' Evil or Very Mad Current conclusion.....drive it 'till something drops off!
Any input from the D3 massive out there will be welcomed, Guys!
