Tyre pressure (Front vs Rear)

Running STD road pressure (2.3 BAR front & 2.5 Rear) as recommended. Today I dropped the pressure to 1.8 BAR front & rear for an off-road trail we did. Got me wondering If I say drop 20% pressure should I start with the F & R road pressures in mind, thus rear higher pressure than front?

Who is running pressures some F&R?

BTW: We did a grade 4 trail today (4/5). Still waiting for my OR tyres & Rims so did it on my GY Wranglers (18") They didn't miss a beat today, running at lower pressure they did well. Must admit afterwards they had small cuts and tears on the actual tracktion survice, so they did take a bit of a beating from the rocks, but as far as making the Disco go everywhere.. they did their job.
