Headlamp Flasher not working

Encountered an odd problem today and I Wondered if anyone else has had similar. When pulling the headlamp flash to flash the font lights the main beam telltale on the dash lights up blue as it should but the lights themselves do not flash they do nothing! I have searched to see if flashing is on a different relay as with the telltale working the switch must be ok. If I turn the lights on normally they all work fine and the main beam goes on and off as it should.
Can any body throw any light on this? (Pun intended) Laughing cheers.

Not sure if you know this , I'm not being cheeky Confused
with engine off, if you flash the headlights only the Halogen High beam lights operate - if they don't, check the H7 bulbs
With the engine on, as above, engine on and headlights on - both the halogens should operate AND the Xenon hi-beam shutters should 'flick' to allow a high beam from them also (but they've been known to stick - unusual both at once)
If there is no response the you need to start checking fuses and relays - sorry I can't recall which or where but someone here will Thumbs Up
Hope this helps Smile

That’s a big help Thumbs Up I had forgotten that (presume it’s due to the reaction time of the xenons ) so I have just tested it and what I thought was normal main beam working was just the xenon flap! Popped the headlamps out and tested and 12v at the
both bulbs ok so bulbs must have failed. They are night breakers a few years old so long over due. Wonder if one has been gone a while but other one has just gone hence noticing no light at all. Cheers.
