[Wanted] Compressor Rubber Mounts
Stripped out the compressor for an overhaul and found the smallest of the three rubber mounts is perished.
Any idea where I can get a replacement?

Chaps,
I assume that you're talking about the Hitachi compressor as the mounts for the AMK are all the same size.
These mounts are (or at least were) available from the local dealer. In a for sale ad from last week I have 1 set of brand new mounts (£5 plus postage) and a frame with second hand mounts, but I could sell the mounts separately. (How's £1 each plus postage?)
Let me know if you're interested.

Gary,
Yes it's all 3 - 2 bigger ones and 1 smaller one. I'll PM you this evening.
CEZ1869,
The AMK is the newer compressor. The mounts are very different - they have a spring in them, and all 3 are the same size. A few months ago AMK mounts weren't available separately, and it proved very difficult to get them. I eventually got some from a suspension specialist in Southern Ireland.

Gary,
PM sent.
CEZ1869,
I should have clarified that last year the AMK mounts weren't available separately from LR dealers. It might be worth trying a dealer first now though, as i understand that some other AMK parts are now available separately so this might include the mounts.
The Hitachi mounts i'm selling to Gary were just under a tenner for the 3 - the AMK mounts (when I finally found somewhere to buy them from) were £40 for 3!
Just a thought before you buy £40+ worth of bits - are the mounts broken or is there just a lot of movement in them, as the springs do make them more flexible than the Hitachi ones which are just blocks of rubber?

Cheers Tim, yeah there's just a bit of play in the rubbers, the springs are slightly visible
