[Wanted] Cheap but sound camper van

Hey all!

I have been trawling the bay of e and classifieds and am glad there is not smell-o-vision for a lot of the offerings

There is a diverse range of dudes on here who tend to look after their kit so thought this worth a punt...

I would like a clean roadworthy camper van. Up to a couple of £k as this is just a quick whim. 4 berth with an oven would be perfick. I realise my budget will attract something 90s and of a Talbot-ish type but a 5 speed would be good

Not looking for a pished mattress tramps palace or a Bedford rascal with a coach body on the back Whistle Laughing

Ta very much, you never know Thumbs Up

You can stick a nought on the end and you still won't get much if you want a VW

Nick, yes, not quite what all hoped for eh? But I will still be buying one of course 8) The T6 is my reason for a stop-gap camper mate because I believe that the new California will take some time to surface even after T6 launch.

Allegedly Westfalia (or another credible dub convertor - may have got the wrong name there) will be back into official conversions for the new van too so could even have more choice come the day Thumbs Up

A £50k purchase for me is not taken lightly and will keep it for at least a decade hence waiting for newest and best rather than owning an immediately superseded model - that's why I am prepared to slum it in an old one for a while.

Just buy a tent and have done!
