Does Size Matter??

I have a base D3 with 17" wheels
Q1 can I fit 18" or 19" wheels?
Q2 will it improve my mpg?
Q3 do I need to get speedo recalibrated?
Confused

In fact, your MPG will probably be worse, as stock tyres on the 18s and 19s are 20mm wider than those on the 17s, meaning more rolling resistance (between say 2 of the same brand of tyre), though the difference would be so small I don't think it'd be possible to see if in the real world! Wink You will, however, get more grip which is always useful. Smile

I haven't noticed any difference in mpg between 17"s, 18"s & 19"s, done 5000 miles on 18s then 11000 on 17"s on my present D3, 15k on 19"s on last D3.
