I want to remove the trim containing the side vent and headlight controls, so I can install a switch there. I have removed the center trim many times before by just pulling. I think this is the same, but after some tough pulling, no luck. Is there something I am missing?

Give a good pull from the bottom straight towards you. It is tight but if you pull hard enough it will come out. Then pull from the bottom and pull down. That will unattache the vent.Duncan

Pull it from the bottom only, don't pull it at the top, as it swings upwards when the clips at the bottom release.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
