Chaps bit of a long shot this one, but I quite fancy buying this trailer. Could anyone on here help get it south at all please?

I live not too far from Jedburgh so could collect it for you.

Unfortunately I don't go too far south very often - wifey does but she isn't equipped with a towbar (her or her car Very Happy )

I could hold it here until someone is heading your way and then meet them on the M6 or A68.

Not much use I know but if it helps the offer is there.

Good luck!

Gumtree... Now why didn't I think of that! Good spot, hopefully will get in first, I can nip there between shifts... Appreciate the search and offer, Mike

Check the Gumtree one out - from the pictures it appears that it isn't braked so 750kg MGTW regardless of 4 wheels. Mind you, it's a very interesting use of a Bedford Rascal tipper body Whistle

Yes I saw that, but for now braked isn't essential - the Jedburgh one is perfect but it's just a bit far away! Furthest north I've ever driven is Harrogate! Any further I'm a train or plane man...!

Hi Paddingtonfire, old trailers can be a bit hit and miss. It is very easy to end up spending enough extra money putting them right to have bought something really tidy in the first place. I would check if it has auto reverse brakes. Many old style brakes especially Lockhead have no parts available any more and the only option is to replace everything including welding on new back plates.

I did a refurb on a friends car transporter and with part costs he would have been better to sell it and buy an Ifor/Brian James

I know this is slightly bigger but it was £800 and in a different league
