Not sure what I'm doing wrong trying to activate my BT iid, the in app on iOS wouldn't work, and neither is the website route, keep getting the message "Your activation request is invalid. Please contact us for more information." It's a new iid so shouldn't have been registered previously, and checked the activation code before submitting each time. Has anyone else encountered this message?
Edit: All sorted now, thanks to Pat

What a stunning bit of kit. Haven't had it for 24 hours yet and it's already paid for itself '

Is it normal for the IID to keep reporting that the same upgrade is available? I flashed the BCM, the update was applied and all seems to be working very well, but IID still says there is an upgrade option.
Is it like Windows where you have to keep applying updates until it gets bored?
Perhaps I need to wait for the car to have a little nap then try again?'

iid tool bt issue
First time I've posted. Bought an iid tool BT off ebay. Seems ok but I have never used one before. Followed the set up. Paid the £25 to transfer ownership. Got activation code. But when filling the form I appear to need an additional Vin
License.
I just want to chexk this is right before I pay another £60. I only have the one d3.Its not a scratch, its a scar!

Best thing is to email Pat, I had a bit of a struggle to set up my second hand unit. He will sort it out quite quickly.
