Disco Built awaiting transport........!

Dealer rang today to say car built and awaiting a transporter to bring it all the way down to Cornwall..... now getting excited (sad.... its only a tin box!)...... should be here next week?

So, tonight sent the dealer a 'gentle' email reminding them to get the parts in for dealer fitting, mud flaps, side steps, luggage and rubber mats, and also to get the tracker fitted together with front and rear 'Vision Drive' Incident cameras...... and also to ensure I'm not left with paint 'swirls' due to poor washing technique..... Personally I'd buy a Cruiser and not waste your money

Exciting stuff - roll on next week Very Happy

I wonder if that means that mine's waiting for a lift too?

Looks like we may have to arrange that breakfast meet up sooner, rather than later....

John.

Bloody hell, you'd think they'd fit it as standard really. Well mine will just have to stay tucked up inside my garage. If they want it they can take it as I won't put up a fight, ill just get the insurance to do the job I pay for

For me ..... when paying nearly £60K for a car its a no brainer..... almost the same price as LR side steps for example ...... you could also argue the car should also come ready equipped with front and rear incident cameras..... not even an LR option on any model as I understand.... Rolling Eyes

I wouldn't want the car back after its been nicked and ragged...... but at least with a tracker it shouldn't have gone too far and I understand it makes them more difficult to nick in the first place..? not sure on that one though....

ste m ... you must have a big high garage! .....the average garage (most used for storage anyway) is much too low ..... and of course its not for when at home necessarily... its when its parked elsewhere.... Smile
