Upgrade to 2015 lamps, HID conversion needed?

OK, potentially a dumb question.... Embarassed I want to update my headlights on a 2010 Disco 4 to the new 2015 lights, if I change the lamp housing to the ones in the link below do I then also need a HID conversion kit? . Also is the 2010 version capable of running the LED running lights?

These are the lamps I am looking at:

Cheers Thumbs Up Stornoway Grey

And if you choose to change them whether halogen or xenon you will also need a new bumper and grill because the newer lights are not quite the same shape.

Also some additional wiring is required to get the DRLs to work (but it has been done by some on the forum).

OK, done some further reading on here, which I should have done in the first place. Going to go for HID conversion kit care of Hids4u. I wanted to get the fairy lights running but I have read that this isn't an option on the XS model. Sad

The answer my questions too, I like the idea of the led running lights on my 2012 xs model as justify the thousands extra for hse model. Just need to save pennies for new model

It is possible. I swapped my XS halogens for a used pair of xenons (complete with fairy lights) which all worked fine (once enabled).

I then made a mod (see http://disco4.com/forum/topic121169.html) that results in the fairy lights being on at all times without the rear lights or instrument lights.
