Have to give these guys a mention, we had the misfortune to have the alternator fry itself on the second day of our Tin Tent holiday, thankfully we had already pitched and were just heading out to do some shopping when the dreaded battery light came on!!!
Luckily we made it to the garage courtesy of the sat nav, google maps and a bit of luck, although the service side was shut, Saturday afternoon in France = not much chance of getting anything done, the sales guys were superb, taking the D3 into the compound, arranging for a taxi to take us back to the campsite, and offering plenty of drinks!
The service dept unsurprisingly diagnosed a fryed alternator on the Monday, sourced a new one and had it fitted by the Weds late afternoon, and I picked it up Thursday morning. I have to admit i feared the worst with parts availability, getting the work done etc
What with the hassle some members have had with getting work done while on holiday even in the UK, I have to say well done to Baudry , and although no doubt more expensive than what I would have paid back here I know the part itself is'nt cheap so I don't feel too hard done by!!!
