After getting well and truly shafted by Admiral at my last renewal as a result of a non-fault accident that my other half had (her car was written off and it had not been settled by the 3rd party when we renewed) which they said left her as much as a risk for being hit as if she had caused the accident, I have swapped over to A-Plan today.
After reading about them on the forum I rang their Thatcham office (01635 874646) and dealt with Jamie Kirk who was very helpful and got cover on 3 LR vehicles I have (unfortunately not got a D3/4 yet) which was significantly less than Admiral has quoted even with multi-car discount. Checked with money supermarket and also couldn't get anything lower than A-Plan.
Hopefully I won't need to call on their services 'in anger' but after a very bad experience dealing with overseas call centres in the past it is good to know that I have a name and contact who is based in the UK if I need them.
