A rather identifiable silver v8 with a lot of paraphanalia sprouting from various parts of the D3, was holed up today at James Edwards, Chester. Apparently there's an issue with the rear brakes, but the mechanics were poring over a rather thumbed Haynes manual, on the section ref rear braking where it says 'replace spigot A into rear trailing arm C, using spigot insertion tool 6mm, hex.'
Quite fantastic how many parts are in the rear braking system and seeing them spread all over the floor made you realise the complexity of a D3...

Yup, it was me. They were very excited when I popped into collect my car, just waiting to tell me that you'd been in and spotted me. I could be bothered awaiting for the clean, seems there was quite queue. Must have just missed you.
Anyway, brakes' fixed so I can now stop as well as I can go.
Looks like you had quite a list of problems, but glad it's all sorted for you. Aint warranties brilliant! D3 HSE V8...

They certainly are, and now JE have invited me to an off road event at Skipton week Sunday! So I'm well happy.
