rotational (directional) tyres

Chaps

for those of you that have (or have had) rotational tyres fitted (i.e, must run in one direction), what have you carried as a spare?

Cheers

In the old days of SATs I used to have the spare for the passenger side on the basis of I could look out of the window and place the right hand wheels to avoid damage during off roading.

So is it OK to run one backwards, so to speak, if the spare is also a rotational tyre, and you puncture is on the "wrong" side.

Treat it as you would a space saver wheel - it will get you home / to te nearest tyre fitter. Just be aware you could experience different handling to normal and adjust your driving to compensate.
