secondary turbo

had the new disco serviced today and have been advised that the underside of the secondary turbo was slightly moist with a little bit of oil.

banjo bolts were tight so been cleaned off and suggested to look again in a while

others had anything similar or should i just start saving now Sad

no noticeable power loss or other issues

Is it an early D4. There was issues with early D4s smoking and oil getting into turbo, was a bulletin for it and the warranty work.. Just a thought

Mine is the same, caused by insufficient oil drain capacity I think. Even if you're not getting smoke you'll probably find oil is passing into the intercooler, but it isn't a sign of impending turbo failure.

I recently carried out the oil drain LTB which has cured the smoke problem.
