General Grabber AT2's
Local Tyrepower store has advised that a container of 255/60/18 General Grabbers are arriving in Brisbane on 1July. They have quoted $380 per tyre fitted. They will get them from Dynamic Tyres in Brissy say they have a lot of orders and the stock is nearly all allocated. Just wondering what others have been quoted as I thought the price was supposed to be a bit cheaper than that.

Had General Grabbers 255/60/18 AT2's fitted today and first impressons are that these tyres are good. They are almost as quiet as the Goodyears but a much better all terrain type tread. They grip really well and feel positive. Not as much tread as I thought they may have. Hopefully they will wear better than the Goodyears.

mine are currently at the LR recommended pressures and I see no difference between them and the Wrangler on road so far ( tad better bite if anything). not much use offroad yet.

Just got back from the Simpson, the tyres have 6000 kms on them, 3000 kms on gravel and sand. They performed well, no punctures or any other problems. Went very well in the desert at 18-20 psi.06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.

General Grabber AT2's
That's unbelievable. Thay look worn to about the same extent that the BFG AT's on my Pajero were at 75,000Km's. They still had probably another 10.000Km on when I sold it at 82,000Km. They covered some pretty rough territory as well.
Cheers.
